1996 Nissan Micra Reverse light switch?

Can you tell me where to locate the reverse light switch on the gear box? Is it underneath the gear box? I'm struggling to find it

look at the underside of the engine. on the nearside of the gearbox you will see two wires going to the switch mind how you remove the wires you need to press the terminal to remove the wires.
The switch will cost you £35 You can remove the switch and have the new switch ready. On removal place finger over hole till you get the other ready and insert. if you do it quick you wont loose any oil. Jim Evans motor engine engineer
