Hi!
I need to know how to enter Straight Percentage Tax Rate in my newly purchased register.
It was cleaned of previous taxes appliications, coming from US. I have the programming disk and I have been able to program everything else except the inserting of tax rate (both GST and PST)
I have followed the instructions as found in the manual but, when I go through the sale transiction the taxes are not added on.
Can anyone please help?

Hi Mark,
I have a similar problem as Joe's. Here is what I did to change CA tax rate and it still didn't work:
- In Programming mode, enter:
8.75000 , press TAX SHIFT 1 key, press CASH key to end programming.
I got a beep until I had to cancel the operation to stop it.
