renault laguna electric drivers window?

My Renault lagona has only the drivers window working The others make a noise but don't move. The car has been standing for a couple of months. Is their a fuse or relay that is common to the three Windows or could all three be faulty. Any help would be appreciated.

Motor mAkes noise but wont go up or down but if i put my hands each side of glass and push down it goes down and the same if i pull up i was told it was the wheel had broke but it feels like its of its runner can u help

hi i had the problem when my battery went really flat on my 03 laguna and when the car was jump started and running again ! the drivers window only went up and down in 2-3 at a time . after reading all the ideas .. the one that worked for me .. was lower window .hold down window button for 10 secs .. then raise window .. hold up button for 10 secs .. and then window should work

hi you need to go up and down a couple of time then leave the window all the way up for a few miniutes then it will re set its self as i had just done mine as i had the headunit out the weekend and mine is all working ok now wish you all the best

i have a 05 renault laguna. i done some work on the car which i had to disconnect the battery.
when i connected the battery back up everything was ok apart for the electric windows would only just move a small way about 2 inches at a time.
so what i did was to put the card key in the slot and started the engine then with the miles showing on the on the clock i pressed in and held the computer button on the end of the wiper stalk for about 20 seconds then operated the problem window but on my car i had to do it four times once for each window..

Just like to thanks to stuart and chicks fan as i've now sorted the problem with you're help it was a case of doing what you said chicks fan only difference between your car and mine is that my car has a key card and not an ignition key,so with the key card in position i moved the window all the way to the bottom and then held the button down for 10 seconds and then bought the window all the way to the top and held the button up for 10 seconds and that worked many thanks

cheers Stuart i only have the manual that comes in the glovebox had a look through that and could'nt see anything relating to a reset for the windows so if you could put them on here that would be fantastic or if you need my email thats not a problem let us know whats best for you cheers Andy

It's in the drivers manual - I take it you don't have the manual with your car. If not, let me know and I'll post the instructions on a reset.

In a Mercedes the windows need to be reset after a battery replacement. Turn the ignition to pos 2 then press and hold the window button until the window is fully open. Then press and hold the window button until the window is fully closed.
Just adding you must hold the button up for 10 seconds minimum while in Key 2 position after they have closed.
I would imagine the reset procedure on your Renault will be something similar.
