Mend Glen 2156 Oil Working Apart

How can I fix my Glen 2156 oil filled radiator?

Radaiator was working last year apart from indicator light. Switched on this year and it does not work. The plug and fuse are ok the wiring inside looks ok.It is possibly the thermostat but without buying one £16.99 I do not know for sure. Is there any way I can isolate the problem

another thing...u could try check resistance with the thermostat closed...it should come up zero

i had a similar problem...in mine there was some sort of thermo diode or fuse that was covered in shrink wrap that went out once i bypassed it the heater worked fine but make sure you use the proper equiment
