How can i fix my MSN Consulette jukebox?

For some reason my jukebox has stopped picking up records, when a number is entered into the wall unit the arm in the hideaway unit moves along the rack but just goes straight to the end & then returns to the start, there is an audiable sound (like a pop) as it passes the record it should be picking up?
