couple of things to look for ,is the pilot a yellow clour if so its not burning correctly and not playing on the thermocouple, secondly it could be the thermocouple. im thinking you have a mclarren gas valve this very rarly fails but if you have a honeywell grey push button then this could also be the case ,get a service engineer round . ignition gas services sheffield
