Mend Citroen Saxo 1.6 VTR Car Started Drives

car keeps revving up misfires?

when the car is first started it drives ok ish for a few miles then as you come to stops it keeps over revving, sometimes up to 4000 revs, it feels like its mis-firing. the diagnostics say carb stepper motor, this has been changed and it still is as bad as before. citroen saxo 1.6 vtr

diagnostics,did not say go and buy a stepper motor.did it. get someone whom can read codes/understand them,as it would appear the ecu is getting wrong info/sending wrong info,find out first before you spend the reddies
