I would suggest it said 'Sr' not '5r' that means System Reset (Total power failure)

Turn on/off with your code and that should do it, but, 'Total power failure' means exactly that, the mains went off AND the battery inside the control panel was flat as well.

A new panel battery is required I'm afraid, I expect it is a 12v, 7.0Ah battery that you can get from Maplin
