no drive to drum will it be the motor needs fixing or somthing else?

Probably if you had to give the motor a shove to get it going i would still say its the motor , probably worn brushes . Even tho it works when forced probably the machine's brain gives up trying to operate the motor because it can hardly reach out and touch the drum to kick start it lol

i tested the motor it works. you have to give it a slight turn to get it going but soon picks up after. what else can i try its got to be the capacitor or the brain what would you recommend to do.
im going to invest in a multi meter tester how would i test the capacitor or the brain any ideas :8}

get a plug 13amp type and some wire and fit the wire to the plug the correct way around, then with the wire at the other end touch the terminals of the motor directly by holding them on by hand and see if the motor tries to work thus bypassing the brain/or any other ecu's.
If it doesnt work then the motor is busted beyond repair and i would suggest a new machine :-)

did'nt get no power i change the wires back to normal and got power again the fuse blew how else can i test the motor or what else can i try can it be the capacitor or the brain

Yes probably, but try this to check:

Get the mains plug and open
Swap the live wire in the plug (brown) and put in the neutral terminal. Put the neutral terminal in the live terminal (blue(basically swap the blue wire in the plug with the brown)) leave the earth wire alone

Now plug in and switch on to operate machine. The motor will now try to work in the reverse action which it would not normally do. If it works okay then the problem is the machines brain/circuit board. If it works then turn the wires back where they were and try it again and it might just work
