How can I fix my boiler in which the hot water works but the central heatin?
I have an IDEAL Mexico Super 2 RS100 boiler. It was working fine before this morning when it was noted that the central heating system was not working as the whole house suddenly became cold. The boiler was switched off and restarted. But while the hot water components worked, the central heating system doesn't. Today is Sunday & no plumber to call in. Please how can I fix this? Any idea.
is room stat turned up?is there a valve in airing cupboard with silver or coloured box on it? check lever on side has moved across ?if not motor has gone try to push lever across then lock it in slot at end. heating will come on all the time the boiler is running for hot water.when hw stat is satisfied then it will switch off,if this works you will definately require a heating engineer to change the motor
