'EMPTY WATER' LIGHT REMAINS ON - ON HOTPOINT CTD 40 CONDENSOR DRIER?

Have you tried taking the condenser out and scooping out any goo back there?

Then try unclipping the cover that the pump sits on (round the back) and cleaning out the hole in the bottom of the tub (mine was bottom left - a tiny triangular hole).

This worked for me.

Mine does the same. Less than 6 months old, but won't work. Did you find an answer???
