After finishing the cycle it started to take water which then overflowed. Switched off the main switch but it still continnued to fill and then it started to overflow. Water coming out from the soap dispenser I had to turn off the main water tap. Managed to rinse the clothes but did not runse properly. Checked for any blockages but found none
Sounds like a faulty cold water solenoid valve. Not an expensive part. replace it.
