Mend Renault 19 Battery Turn

How can I fix my K reg 1.8i renault 19 cabriolet?

I recently replaced my battery, after fitting the new battery the car will not turn over. It was running fine with no problems before this. I can however hear two relays clicking when I turn the key. I have checked the relays and none seem to be fused. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like your replacement battery is flat,did you charge it up off car first! bump start the car and let it run for a while.
