when i turn it on the screen goes back and the little green light left of the screen flashes a few times n makes 3 beeps then the lenses goes back in and the camera turns itself off.
I can seem to switch my camera on. When you charge it the little arrow lights up amber only. Iv left it on for a few hours and still nothing. Can someone help???

For me it was the lens also, I wiggled it (quite firmly I might add) until it started opening and shutting properly... if it doesn't extend the whole way when you power it on, it will close itself and power off.

hi, i have a samsung p1000 and the screen has gone psychedelic colours and cant veiw any of the pics on it could you please tell me how much this would cost to repair or would i be better off buying another camera

I had the same problem. I think the lens mechanism has moved out of alignment. I turned my camera on, waited for the three bleeps then gently twisted and pushed the lens back in (as the lens comes out it turns. When twisting, twist gently the opposite way). Did this 5 times until the camera turned on and the display came on. It is now working.

I had a similar problem. The lens came out - but stopped half way. I got the three beeps and the green flashing light.
I simply pushed the lens (carefully) back into the camera. Ive had no problems since :)
