How can i fix my reversing lights and sensors, Vauxhall Astra 2003?

The fact that 2 different things that are operated by the gearlever selecting reverse have stopped working suggest that either the fuse has gone or the reverse light switch on the gearbox has packed up.
I would start by checking the fusebox and finding the correct fuse for the reverse lamps and seeing if it's blown. If it has replace it and see what happens next.
