My 307sw has coolant problems. It shoots coolant all over the engine bay, W?
Ihave a 307sw whith the coolant light on and STOP flashing on the dash. I have filled the coolant with 3 litres and it spat it out of a small hole on the top of the engine, the hole is on top of what appears to be 3way valve of some sort coming from the radiator around to the back of the engine. Is it an air lock or more serious. Help.
Thanks lest, i have found that it is a bleed valve and it needs replacing the valve has become brittle and snapped. Unfortunately it is a dealer part so it is going to cost a lot. Nevermind.

The coolant will gain pressure in the system as it gets hot. It sounds like the problem is the hole in the valve.
If the valve is held in place by jubilee clips it should be easy to replace.
