My Hoover fridge freezer is stinking from somewhere on the OUTSIDE. Help!?

My Hoover frost-free fridge freezer, which we keep in a cupboard under the stairs, is absolutely stinking. Can't identify the smell, but its a kind of revolting savoury smell that's getting worse and becoming more rotten and unbearable each day. It's making the whole house stink. There is no trace of any smell inside either section, and we can't find the source of the smell on the back of the appliance, but it's definitely coming from it somewhere. Has anyone got any ideas at all? Please?!

We had to replace the seal on our Hoover frost free fridge due to the same problem. In our case, once we peeled back the seal from the bottom of the door we could see a leak in the seal which was pooling in the seal. Replacements can be purchased for between £20 and £35 and can be fitted fairly easily.

I have just discovered a vile smell after slightly moving the fridge freezer to decorate, I assume it's coming from the pipe at the back where the pipe actually goes into a tank....I noticed a large amount of "water" on the floor and the smell only got worse after cleaning it, check the pipe is in the small tank and not leaking all over the floor!

COMING FROM DOOR SEAL NO DOUBT, WE HAD THE SAME ONLY DISCOVERED WHAT SMELL WAS WHEN TOOK OFF DOOR AND STALE (BROWN) MILK CAME OUT. YUCK!

it may be a dead mouse. we had something similar and it was hard at first to locate due to the fan not blowing the smell out from under the fridge all the time but after a while the smell came out regardless of fan.how to pin point? we have i little jack russel with a good nose maybe you could borrow a small dog of a friend.

Me too. We have a Hoover fridge and there is horrible smell of stale milk/vomit (!) coming from somewhere but I just can't work out where..driving me mad
