Hi john paul, I think the first thing is take off the plinth and try to see where the water is coming from.Is it the door or under the base plate.It could range from a split spray arm to a leaking motor to a holed drain hose etc.Numerous reasons, I think a little more investigation first as there are too many variables.All the best
