Most starting problems are caused from no fuel. Take the air filter off and spray a one second shot of gumout into the carb. If it starts then there is a clog in the carb and it has to be rebuilt. You can also check for spark. I recommend you find a spark plug tester because a spark can really hurt. If you cant find one then remove the spark plug, reinsert it into the boot, Hold it with a good pair of insulated pliers with the threaded part touching a fin on the head and give it a pull. If there is spark you will see it jump the gap on the plug. If there is no spark then the ignition system is bad and needs to be repaired preferably by a mechanic.
