Is it possible to mix different makes of the two componets? I want to leave the cistern, the flushing bit, where it is on the wall but change the bottom bit whilst the floor is being retiled? I want to change the bowl shape and have it connected to the top half?
possible if you use same manufacturer,unlikely otherwise. Remove cistern and take measurements and centres of bolts(inc diameter)and syphon,ballvalve and overflow holes,pipework can be altered but bolt and syphon centres crucial .
