How can I fix my Potterton Prima F 50 Boiler?

My boiler cut out today for the first time. We pressed the reset button underneath and it appeared to work. It sounded as though it was working for about a minute then it made a kind of gurlging noise and cut out again.

If you can check small tank in loft has water in it
More likely to be pump failure, depends on make of pump if it has large screw on the top remove it and with a smaller screw driver try to release pump spindle.
Be mindful of water leaking out and the electrics (they don't mix).

You have reset is the over heat stat
Boiler is over heating main reason the either system empty or pump not working
