how do i get rid of the spanner sign on my dash?

thats an easy 1. press and hold the trip meter button in. keeping it held in turn the ignition on, dont release the trip button you will notice some digits counting either upto or down from 10000 when they stop release button the 'spanner' service light will no longer be on, ps vechile will still need a service
