my upvc door shut and can lift handle but i cant turn the key?

i can shut my door and lift the handle but can't fully lock it. when i try it with the door open i can turn the key

your door needs re-packing,if you know any one who fits doors and windows ask them to do it for you,if not phone a double glazing repair company to do it for you as if you force your lock it will break and you will be faced with a bill of around £100.00-£160.00 instead of a charge of around £40.00-£60.00 to re-pack it.If you are going to try and do it yourself feel free to contact me through my website below
