where is the coil?

Is it GONE as in not working very well - or is it GONE as in not working at all - or is it GONE as in completely missing from the engine compartment?

If the first then you can probably drive the car - if either of the second two then the engine will not operate at all.

Go back to whoever told you that the coil has GONE! and ask them 'what part is that exactly,can you point it out for me,please'.If you know it's GONE you should know where it is??
