85 GoldWing bike?

I don't have any problem. I do have an 85 Interstate Gold Wing. It's only got a bout 52,000 miles on it. I was going down a long hill last night (it was rather chilly [about 45 F] out)...I was very low on gas (1/2 way into the red) and a long buzzing noise came on. When I got to the top of the hill (down & up this hill is about a mile), the buzzing stopped. I couldn't tell where the buzzing was coming from. According to the temp gauge, nothing was wrong. Do u have ANY idea at all what that was?
