HOw can I replace the belt on my Kirby G4?

I can't remove the roller on my G4 to replace the belt. I misplaced by manual in our last move. Help!

1. Lift the headlight panel.
2. Engage belt lifter.
3. Flick the clip holding the Turbo head onto the machine body and remove turbo head.
4. Flick 2 clips holding silver rug plate on bottom of turbo head.
NB Take note of position of brush roller. Each end will have either 1, 2, or 3 notches on it. If it hasn't been dis-assembled then one notch should be facing the bottom of the turbo head.
4. Release belt by aligning belt lifter green to green.
5. Remove roller brush, slide old belt off and replace with new belt.
5. Fit roller brush back into turbo head with one notch facing towards you. Rotate roller brush whilst looking across the bottom of the head (where the silver plate goes). The bristles should evenly protrude beyond the bottom by around 4-5 mm or nearly 1/4 inch as the brush is rotated. If not, then remove and refit the roller brush with 2 (or 3) notches facing you.
6. Once roller brush has been refitted with 4-5 mm bristles protruding, then refit the silver rug protector and clip it securely.
7. Engage belt lifter by rotating red to red on the belt lifter. You might have to hold the new belt in the centre of the roller brush whilst turning the belt lifter!!
8. Refit turbo head back onto the machine body.
9. Release belt lifter green to green.
10. Close headlight panel.
11. Check that green brush roller light on the top of the turbo head indicates that the brush is rotating.

PS IF you can not get 4-5mm of bristles protruding beyond the opening even when refitting the roller brush with 3 notches facing outwards, YOU NEED A NEW ROLLER BRUSH.
