Error message E1 STALL on True treadmill?

I have the error message E1 STALL appearing on the screen of my True Treadmill and it won't allow me to select anything to clear it. I've tried turning the power on and off but nothing.

Please can you help.

Many thanks

Jane

Fixed it!
I had a "speed stall" error on my ps 300 today. I took the shroud off of the front and looked for a speed sensor. I found it on the left side of the machine, on the driven motor pulley. I rotated the pulley until i found the magnet. I cleaned off the surface of the magnet and the sensor. I then moved the sensor closer to the magnet. I fired up the treadmill and recieved the same error :(. I then got out my volt meter to see if the sensor was working, and as i rotared the belt, i saw a 0.3vdc pulse from the sensor, indicating it was working. Assuming the pulse was too weak, i moved the sensor as close to the magnet as possible without crashing, then fired up the mill and it worked.

I have a problem with the E1 Error message, the treadmill will not start unless I power the belt with my legs to get it going, once it does get going it works fine, any ideas?

E1 Stall means the incline motor is not responding for some reason. It could be the incline limit switch, the PC board, or the wire from the switch to the PC board. Unplug the treadmill, let it sit long enough to drain the capacitors, then crank the screw down to level the machine. Inspect the limit switch and wiring to it.

My treadmill is back working fine for the moment. I have read that the speed sensor near the front flying wheel connected the front roller, sometimes get malfunction. I have just tapped it gently with a screwdriver and this seems to have done the trick. Hope this will help somebody with a similar situation.

I am sorry, I have a similar error and also looking for a solution.
I have a new fitness AS01 treadmill which starts OK for 20 seconds then it stalls with an E1 error. It seems to be an electronic circuit fault rather than a motor fault.
Any help greatly appreciated.
