Hello,
I found solution, but it's not easy (you need functional original Venturer HDD). File Entry.TBL and others simple guides don't help you.

You have to:

1. format new HDD
2. clone sector to sector from old Venturer HDD to new HDD (you can do it with two USB to IDE interfaces not via MP3 Player!!!)
3. format new HDD via Venturer formating menu
4. that's all :) - I use 120GB HDD in my Venturer HDP3202BS.

I read the manual and it says not to format via the computer which is what I did when the music kept locking up. Your meant to format it via the menu on the actual device. If anyone wants the Entry.TBL file I can send it from this address

This is quite an old thread but heres a little info that may help. If the unit does not boot or just displays "charging" do the following. Switch on the player, make sure the key lock is "ON", once key lock is displayed on the screen, move the key lock to the "OFF" position, the unit will then load up the menu.

Update to the System file info, the second unit I have has a minor problem, when first turned on it will just show "charging", there is a work around to get the unit to function, use a terminated power tip ( i.e one of the tips you get with a universal psu, short the two prongs together ) and insert into the power socket, the unit will power on normally, then remove the tip. You have to do this each time, its a bit of a pain but avoids replacing the faulty socket if you happen to have a similar problem. The Entry.TBL file for my second unit is just over 13kb in size.

Hi, I have the sytem file for this device, its called Entry.TBL and is 19.4k in size if anyone still requires it leave a message and I can email it to you. The Venturer site is hopeless and support is non existent, also the system file itself is nowhere on the net, I know as I was looking for it myself. The device driver for xp and vista is automatically installed when you connect it via usb cable. Make sure the device is powered and press the power on button otherwise windows wont detect it. Hope this helps ;)
