Singer Starlet - Capacitor?

Found this today after the same thing happened to my Singer Starlet. Thanks, Ken - this worked a treat! :)

Hello Scarlett,
Peel back the rubber on the bottom of the foot control,
undo the screw all the way out in the middle, you may break the plastic surround a bit if it is very tight but don't worry because it can easily be glued back together, open the control and you will see the capacitor which looks like a fuse, take it out and throw it away, you don't need it, put everything back.
