My dell latitude d6oo numeric keys have stopped working apart from numbers 5 and 6, any ideas?

A drink; tea, coffee, cola etc has been spilt in that area of the kbd. Any switch H/W or S/W to disable the numeric pad would disable all of them. Remove key caps and clean with toothbrush and a small amount of benign solvent - meths, soapy water.
