Spoke with Ariston, they seem to think it is the three way valve.

They advised me to turn the heating right down and put the hot water right up and then see if there is a supply of hot water...

I have the same problem..

What I do which seems to work is just before I want to go in the shower, I crank up the heating so that the boiler kicks in and the flames ignite.. when I hear the noise I then turn on the hot water... I keep the tap turned on fairly low.. This seems to work. However if I try running a shower when the heating dial is down then the boiler fails to heat the water properly...

This is not ideal but its a temporary measure I use to get warm showers..

I have just got hold of Aristons customer service number so will ring them today and see if they have a solution.

Try letting the air out of the pressure valve on the overflow pressurisation system release. Its ususlly a red bottle top plastic looking thing. Pull it up and a discusting fart noise is heard as the air leaves the boiler. Other things are thermostat problems (not opening). =You dont give a code No that should show on the LED dial so I cant help you more specifically.
