Mend Singer Touch Tronic 2010

SINGER TOUCH TRONIC 2010?

HOW DO I WIND BOBBIN

NILDA
September 2008
Raise the needle to highest position
Raise the presser foot
Touch 15 stitch. A beep will be heard and a red light will be seen above the stitch symbol.
Tough the button that looks like a circle with a dot in the middle. This is the pattern repeat symbol to stop up and down motion of the needle. This will insure a smooth flow of thread from the thread spool to the bobbin during winding.
Move bobbin latch to extreme right.
Draw needle thread away from you between toes of presser foot, under left side of presser foot, then up from the front into and around thread retainer. Thread retainer is on left side across from screw that tightens needle.
Release thread end. Start machine, run at moderate speed. Pull thread end away after it has separated from bobbin.
Watch bobbin as it fills. Do not allow thread to wind beyond the outside Full ring C.
Sometimes the thread will start winding under the bobbin and you have to start over.

Hello Nilda,
Thread the machine as normal, presser foot up, open the slide plate and pop a bobbin in, push the little lever to the right, thatb will raise the winder, wind the thread round the screw on the presser foot, make sure yoiu have straight stitch, press on the foot control slowly and it will wind the bobbin, when you have wound enough drop the winder down by closing the slide plate and pull the threads to the back of the machine.
