2004 mondeo water ingress?

tried the door trick, but it looks like mine is leaking from the front under the steering wheel area., or is it possible for the water to move that far up under braking etc? I have done the door and checked the rear wash wipe pipe. any more advice please!!!!

Had the same problem on my 2002 Mondeo.
It was caused by the rear screen washer.
If you remove the interior c-pillar above the rear seat
you should notice that the washer hose has an inline connection, that connection worked loose on mine so just pushed it securely together again. I also noticed a stain on the interior c-pillar. Also lift your rear seat up and see if it's damp there.
Give that a go!

HI, HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM WITH MY ST220, ITS THE MEMBRANE INSIDE THE REAR DOOR WHICH HAS COME AWAY AND THE WATER IS RUNNING BEHIND THIS MEMBRANE INTO YOUR REAR FOOTWELL INSTEAD OF OVER THE MEMBRANE AND OUT OF THE CAR, HOPE THIS HELPS. HAD MINE DONE BY FORDS UNDER WARRANTY.
