Wharfedale WH180 Bluetooth CD Radio????

hi great radio . only thing im looking for is a manual for it.

Worksd perfectly for 2 years used daily for hands free safety, then for no reason stopped working. when faceoff changed still the same although when faceoff is off red light still flashes. .

I've got the same and it's just gr8 i connected my ipod to it using a radio transmitter so i could to all my favourite music. Unfortunately i tried every code there is to pair it with my cell phone and it just won't accept the code. Tried 0000, 1234, 1111, 8888, 1234567890, 0123456789, any code you could imagine and nothing at all..... so if anyone out there would advise i'd really appreciate it.

Anyone have a bluetooth connection problem with this? If I pair my iphone and the wh180 initially it works fine but if I switch the BT in my phone off then on again the radio doesn't reconnect. I have to RESET the radio and repair it just to get it working again!

Any ideas what I can do??

I have one and the bluetooth is good, however the usb connection has gone and the up and down buttons for the volume have gone aswell. duno what thats about but i might have to just buy a new one.

I have this in my previa - excellent player and the bluetooth code is 1234. Bluetooth worked brilliantly on my blackberry and perfect on my tocca lite. Would highly recommend this cd player. My car is noisey but people can still hear me on my phone using bluetooth. Love it :)

Great stereo has everything you want but speakers started crackling, changed them and still happens....not sure about the amplifier.

i've got one of these and find everything works great except people can't hear me when i make phone calls through the bluetooth. anyone know how to sort that out? cheers

PHONEBOOK... if you do not support phonebook download you will have trouble using the unit to make calls. i have to use mobile to call and unit to speak. something mobile makers should highlight

have got one, use a nokia n95 with it. had to swap live over to keep memory, well it is a skiptron car... phone worked well then left speakers played up, only whilst bluetooth on. then packed up, now fine. phone position can make difference. phones and devices need to be clearer. group 1, 2 3 etc. so we know wot works.

Hey guys,

I have one of these units and it's great. Only problem is that when my phone rings, the ringtone through my speakers is absolutely deafening. I've gone to TMenu and set the ring volume to 1, but it seems to make no difference. Can anyone help ?

Sandra. i have had the same problem with this radio in my Astra, what you need to do is this, you will notice that the wiring coming from the back of your radio has a red wire with a fuse inline and an orange with a fuse inline, they have a connector as well, pull the connectors apart and swap them over so that red goes to orange and vise versa. I am guessing you have a Vauxhall, for some reason they have their wiring different. When you have done this you will find that the memory now works as there is a constant live feed once turned off which retains the memory!

Hi have broght the WH 180 and very happy with sound quality but can't get the memory to work on the clock and date etc when I turn the engine off and then start again the memory back up doesn't work - can anyone help please?

I need help with this. I bought one and everything works fine except the player will not take CD's. It detects the CD, takes it half way and then spits it back out again.. with a few quick beeps. I've returned the unit and got a replacement, only to find the SAME problem. What am I doing wrong?? It's got to be something I'm doing.. any advice?

I just bought it yesterday from Argos and fitted it myself via the standard ISO fitting in my Rover 600. What a stereo - has everything I wanted at about a third of the price of other brands. It also has an SD card slot behind the fascia which is not mentioned any any of the adverts - this plays like a dream, I have a 2 GB card inserted and now don't have to burn CD's of my favourite MP3's. So for 50 quid you get bluetooth connectivity (works like a dream, and the stereo itself has a phone keypad which is not found on many models!), SD card and USB memory stick compatibility, CD player with MP3/WMA support, decent tuner and a full dot-matrix display which is reversible!! Must be the deal of the century..and oh I forgot, the sound quality does not disappoint, I can't tell the difference between this and the Sony Xplod unit it replaced even though the latter is supposedly 45x4watts compared to the Wharfedale's 20wX4!

I have the same stereo purchased last week and I would say that it is excellent value for all the functions. The blutooh works a dream and I would recommend the stereo to anyone trying to get a MP3 / cd / bluetooth car solution for very reasonable price.
