how can i fix my sony dvd recorder, model number rdr-gx210?

The nearly new state conditioned rdr gx210 plays CD's perfectly, but DVD's always give an error message en were ejected. Inside it is dustfree and looks like new thus low hours life? The app was from somebody who wanted tho trow it away a few years ago, so long it stood in a box asided.
I need service code and some explanation of the service manual to can make an errortest, auto adj modus.

Yes exactly the same here. It says it can not play my disks. Even the disks it recorded yesterday. The answer: Dont pay extra for SONY because it is just ar poor as all the other rubbish
