how to reset immobiliser to work key fob?

hi, if it is vaxhall rover some other car you have to put the ingintion on possition press the remote or key lock unlock meny times and it will start work the remote

hi Tracy, i am having the same problem with an Audi A4, the book says to press the key fob once, then open the car with the key manually and start and drive as normal and the system should reset itself. Mine has reset itself many times after battery changes but not this time. I have had a fault with the receiver on the side of the car before, there are 2 on the Audi and I fear that both are now faulty. Try the process above or call the main dealer and ask for advice on the process for ur car. If this doesn't work, its off 2 the garage i am afraid. good luck
