Here's how to replace a drive belt on Creda tumble dryer.
Steps
1. Unplug it from the mains.
2. Take top off.
3. Put it on its back.
4. Unscrew kickplate at front at the bottom. Don't unscrew top screws which attach the control panel.
5. Lift the the front of the dryer away from the bottom, being careful not to break the control panel which is still screwed on. Don't take it right off - just lift it away a bit. This gives access to get the belt over the drum. This is a top trick.
6. Put the belt over the drum. Align to where the marks on the drum are.
7. Put the belt over the motor spindle. Don't unscrew the jockey wheels - this is an important part to follow. The jockey wheels go on the outside of the belt, not the inside.
8. Put back together. If you think it's alright put it all back together again.
[edit] Tips
* If you have any difficulty getting the belt over the drum, remove the outer screws on the back cover, leaving the ground level ones in place. This will allow you to ease the drum away from the front housing, around the door, more easily providing very simple access to place belt round drum.
