What does error 3 means in a samsung er350 cash register? How can I fix it?

The cash registered began beeping after hitting de 1st department button, it displayed error 3, how can I fix it?

Hi,
E3 indicates a printer malfunction. Check that there is no paper jam. Make sure you can feed the paper with the feed button. Turning the machine off and on at the wall while in reg mode should fix it if you have removed the obstruction from the printer. Otherwise, it has probably got a damaged gear, or the gears have jumped out of alignment. Have a look, and see how you get on.
