I have been told it's the imoboliser and I need a new key etc etc and ecu BUT the imoboliser light is not on at all and i have read else were that it should be I have also read that there is an led inside the key but there is not one in mine? help please i need this car and dont have the sort of money they are asking for so anything to get it started please.....
I have two keys neither of them have a button and i just open the door with the key... old school style.. The car was running but was murder to start so i changed the battery. since i changed the battery it wont start at all! I paid a guy £50 to come and look at it and he said it's the imoboliser and there was nothing he could do........ I would have to buy keys and maybe change the ecu? and it would cost lots of £££££ please help if you can. Thanks for the help

Does your key fob open the doors remotely using the central locking?? If it does then the imobiliser should be deactivated to.. Try putting the key into your ignition-tuen the dash lights on but do not turn the engine over--with the dash lightd on and your doors closed-press the key fob once--this may reset the key to the car etc.. Tri it-- hope it works.
