The machine doesn't spin, however I can hear (and smell) the motor trying to turn it. When I give the drum a turn and close the door then it does spin ok. I'm told it's the brushes on the motor that needs replacing, but how??

I have same problem - just searching tinterweb for parts! replacement shouldn't be too difficult - remove old ones and pop in new ones (remove cover on back)?
