i have found the answer. orange network is compatable with these phones. i put a orange simcard in now the phone works perfect. hope this is of help

i have also bought a schauen pda phone and have the same problem. i phoned my network provider. they do not support that make of phone and sugested i try to go on line and see if the manafacturers know what networks are compatable. i dont have the answer yet.
