The electronic card in my indesit BAN 12 NF S is making a ticking noise?

We have the same problem. I've bought the card you recommended - but I can't get the plasic casing off the back of the fridge. Unscrewed two screws, even taken out the bulb at the back, but it seems stuck at the top. Should I yank it hard, or will I break the fridge? (!)

Mine also has the same problem, I've just ordered the card described above, £39 from indesit, I'll keep you posted when it arrives.

Just to confirm - it worked for me. Same problem (Indesit was only a few years old), and it was clicking.

The card is located at the top of your fridge; unplug the fridge from the mains, open the door, and then take the two screws on the left and right out (behind the little plastic covers); they hold the top plastic cover in place, behind it you will find the card that is clicked in place. Just check that you unplugged the fridge from the mains, then detach the wires unclick it from the front, and click the new card in...

Didn't find the card cheaper than 40 quid, the part number is C00274387, found it amongst other places on

i have the same problem,the electronic card from indesit is 78 pounds and it is quite easy to change yourself.

INDESIT have a spare parts page on there service website the electronic card costs about £25. Replacement of this will get your fridge freezer working again. It worked for me.
