Mend Immersion Hot Water

how can i fix my immersion (hot water)?

one day i put new 13 amp fuse in my plug and the water heated. But then coming home from work the next day the water wasnt heated. So i checked the fuse by putting it in the kettle plug and it worked fine so i dont know what the problem is. Could there be a problem in the electrical supply or with the heating element.

if the stat ok then check the element by doing a ohms test.
