Kenmore progressive beltless brushes don't turn?

My Kenmore vacuum 116 33912300

Brushes don't turn. I don't have a manual. Any help for either problem? Thanks!

try little red button on side by the side that says reset, that should get it rolling, 2nd there is 12 #2 cross tip screws on the bottom. Remove them and the lower grey pice comes off. Remove roller and clean all the string and carpet stuff off so it can spin smoothly. put it back togther. becareful of the wires and reset switch make shore the seet correctly befor tightining all sctews. Took me about 20min to complete and saved me 200+ on a new vacume. goodluck!

Try pressing the reset button located near the bottom of the vacuum. It is usually red.
