Mend Whirlpool ED25PO Model Refrigerator

Water dispenser won't shut off,driping?

My Whirlpool model no.ED25PO Refrigerator started driping water at the dispenser when not in use.does this mean the water valve in the door has to be replaced or can you just replace a valve washer seat like any other water fixture.

Interesting. I just changed my PUR water filter...Best Buy only had the "Advantage" when my last was a "Deluxe" I have an EDF5 model if I'm reading it right?

Wonder why the filter would cause that? Everything was fine before that.
