Mend Vauxhall Corsa Comfort Oil Whilst

whats wrong with my vauxhall corsa comfort ?

My oil light was coming on whilst car was idling at junction etc then going off when driving. I had the oil change etc and it was still happening. now that it is colder i have been using the heater in car - now the oil light doesnt come on - but there is a strong smell of petrol after driving - what is it

guessing that your corsa is a 1.2 / 1.4, 4 cylinder engine? common fault on the oil pressure switches, the start to weep oil and give a false reading. have it checked and if its the slightest bit wet with oil where the wire plugs in, GET IT CHANGED! a £12 part can save you a £900 + engine repair bill. not sure about the smell of fuel though.
