how do you fit a waterpump on 2.4 td transit 52 plate?

my waterpump leaks from metal shim ,does it need replacing ,if so how.
transit 2.4td 52 plate.

if you mean the metal gasket that goes between the pump and the block then you should only have to replace that. should cost about £6 plus coolant
