the green light comes on when it is being charged but does not start up. Also the light is not on atall if i try and start the tomtom using its own battery for power
Please help, as the cost to repair a tomtom one is nearly the price to buy a new one!

the white clip at the top of the connector slides upward releasing the ribbon
