Hi! I have a superflous copy of a User's Manual and Mechanic's Manual for Aspera LAV-LAVR 30-35-40, and V 50-60-70 petrol engines.

Any offers?

Aspera havent owned Tecumseh for years. Aspera were part of the Fiat group who sold off Tecumseh years ago. Recently Tecumseh themselves went bankrupt and in the last twelve months have been purchased by Platinum Equity LLC.

A lot of parts for previous European spec engines are discontinued and are only running on stock that was produced prior to bankruptcy. There are certain manufacturers who do produce pattern parts- especially popular items.

Aspera Motors (Italian) licence builds Tecumseh engines under their own name. In the past I have had engine spares supplied by Buxton's (Staffs). See their web site for address, phone no.

Lawn Cheif mowers were plastic bodied mowers at the budget end of the market- hence the Tecumseh. They were also used as an own make mower from B&Q under the Performance Power brand name. Both machines were based on variants of the Partner 471S s/p erc.

Anyone that sells Flymo parts should be able to source chassis parts for you. It it's engine parts then a Tecumseh dealer (or better still find one dealer that covers both)

Tecumseh is the make of engine. If it is engine parts you need try www.henton&chattell.co.uk. They do list a mower make of Lawn King but not Lawn Cheif but they are a very big parts supplier so maybe able to advise.
