pace dv3 box not picking up STV channels ?

My mums freeview box pace dv3 ok With BBC Channels but not getting STV channels. WHY ?

Bad signal. Freeview needs a good strong signal. Check aerial alignment and coax connectors. An aerial amplifier may help.
